AMANKAN PARA PELAKU: Sebanyak 4 orang pelaku pencurian mesin speedboat diamankan di Polsek Sebatik Barat. (red)
NUNUKAN – Sebanyak 4 orang pelaku pencuri sebuah mesin speedboat tempel seharga jutaan rupiah, dibekuk personel Polsek Sebatik Barat. Niat mereka menjual mesin tersebut untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari serna, karena dahulu tertangkap sebelum mesin yang dicuri mereka terjual.
Mereka melakukan aksi pencurian speedboat tersebut sekitar pukul 04.00 wita, Selasa (30/1) kemarin. Pencurian sengaja dilakukan pada subuh hari, menghindari ketahuan pemilik mesin speedboat yang menempel pada perahu.
Kasi Humas Polres Nunukan, AKP Siswati mengatakan, sebelum mesin speedboat tersebut hilang, sekira pukul 02:00 wita pada Selasa (30/1) hari itu, motoris perahu korban masih melihat mesin speedboat tersebut masih ada menempel di speedboat. Speedboat saat itu bersandar di Kanal Sungai Baru, Jalan Salowangi, Desa Binalawan, Sebatik Barat.
“Jadi korban sendiri yang mengetahui mesinnya sudah hilang, dia kebetulan mau cek speedboat nya sekitar pukul 07.00 wita pagi, hari Selasa itu juga. Setelah dari situlah, korban langsung melapor ke Polsek Sebatik Barat,” ujar Siswati kepada wartawan, Sabtu (3/2).
Merasa dirugikan karena harga mesin tersebut mencapai Rp 22 juta, membuat korban melapor. Laporan tersebut akhirnya ditindaklanjuti personel Unit Reskrim Polsek Sebatik Barat. Hasil penyelidikan, para terduga pelaku merupakan komplotan yang bersama-sama membongkar dan mengambil mesin tersebut.
Keberadaan mereka akhirnya ditemukan, yakni di rumah bos tempat mereka bekerja. Kebetulan, para komplotan tersebut bekerja di satu tempat tersebut. Saat itu juga, mereka langsung dibekuk tanpa perlawanan. Masing-masing pelaku berinisial AL (27), JA (37), AS (25) dan IW (23)
“Mereka ini ditangkap hari Selasa itu juga sekitar puku 14.00 wita, mereka sedang bersantai di rumah bosnya, dimana tempat mereka kerja sebagai pemukat rumput laut,” tambah Siswati.
Setelah diperiksa, mereka pun mengakui perbuatannya. Sementara barang bukti mesin speedboat tersebut disembunyikan di hutan bakau. Hasil pemeriksaan juga mengungkap, bahwa mesin memang akan dijual, hasilnya akan dibagi-bagi. Sayangnya, mereka belum menemukan pembeli, sehingga mesin tersebut masih ada. disembunyikan di hutan bakau,
“Jadi mengakunya hasil curian kalau laku dan menjadi uang, mereka hanya untuk keperluan sehari-hari. Sekarang semua sudah dibawa dan ditahan di rutan Mapolres Nunukan,” beber Siswati. (red)
